Loyalty.
in my eyes is one of my favorite traits, because of the fact that it can be so hard to come across these days. not many people feel the need to actually keep to their word and what not. it's frustrating, but i also vow to not be one of those people. i try as hard as i can to stay loyal to people, but it's somewhat hard when they don't bother to do it back. its actually my pet peeve, hanging around people that aren't loyal, or are really fake. i just don't understand how one can do it.

Respect.
A term that doesn't mean much to people these days, at least they don't show it if it does. i find that the young community doesn't feel the need to show older people the respect that they earned, and young people feel that they earned respect that they haven't. i'll never understand why people do this, but it's out of my hands.

Love.
Is a very powerful word, that i don't think some people will ever understand. Love is unconditional, and people will never get that. Love is not something you can acquire for someone that you just met, but i still believe in love at first sight. i feel like i've experienced love at first sight, but then again, i will never know. i wish i would've spoken to that girl, but then again, she wouldn't have understood me, she was Brazilian, and i'm pretty sure she was like, 17. but i could tell by the look in her eyes, she had the same thoughts. i actually ran into someone, because this beautiful fallen angel met eyes with me. she giggled a bit, and i slowly saw her start to fade into the crowd, and was never seen again. moral of the story: beat desales.

Happiness.
A term that is used so often do describe success, or a the reaction of a good turn of events. but i'll never understand why people would deliberately try to stand in the way of your happiness. your happiness is yours, and no one elses. now, i understand if your happiness involves hurting others, than most likely you shouldn't be happy. you should live life miserably, and not enjoy one single thing that will ever happen to you. OR, you could do something that benefits others, and it still makes you happy. The founding fathers made it a LAW, that no one shall be denied the pursuit of happiness, so i will continue to pursue mine to the fullest. what would make me happier than anything, would to become an indie artist, sell out the lc pavilion, and shut down the schott. i'd love to have everyone hear my music. they don't have to necessarily like it, but it'd be cool just to know they've heard it. Dream big.

Peace.
i find that there isn't enough in the world, all people do is argue these days. war is running rampant, and people are not even bothering to stop it, it's ridiculous. Egypt is in shambles, and i heard that NATO is extending it's stay in Libya. I'm wondering when the third World war will start. Let's be real, it's bound to happen sooner or later. And when it does, i'll be underground with my loved one, watching reruns of RJ Berger and Dancing With the Stars. We can have our own little underground home, in which i contain enough food to last us for years, lot's and lot's of water, and maybe even a racquetball court.
And eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind. -Ghandi

What My Girlfriend Doesn't Know
Dear Reader,
Young Love, a term that relates all to well to people my age. Almost everyone has experienced it sooner or later, and it almost always ends the same way. But no matter how one knows it will end, but love is still attempted. In What My Girlfriend Doesn't Know, this is portrayed through two characters, named Sophie and Murphy. The book goes through the hard and good times that they experienced with each other, while trying to work out their relationship. The book is written in poetry, so that will be a very big part of the blog.
Enjoy the Reading (:
Haiku's For Sophie
Spring has come around
I will sit and watch with you
All the roses bloom.
We escape the heat
And retreat back to your bed
Underneath the sheets
The leaves are falling
And it's starting to cool
But we're warming up
Snow is everywhere
And I'll hold you nice and tight
No fire is needed
The seasons will change
But I'll always remain here
with you forever
At the touch of love, everyone becomes a poet. - Plato

I Love You I Love You
But I'm Sorry
For The Names They Call You
All Because Of Me All Because Of Me
You're Exiled
Worse Than You Ever Were
For All Of This For All Of This
Seems Worth It
I Don't Deserve It
I Couldn't Stay Away
From Your Love,
Your Lips,
Your Touch Your Touch
Gives Me Comfort
Beyond My Wildest Dreams
No One Else,
Can Mend The Seams
Like You Like You
I Too, Love This Thing
We Have
But Being With Me
Hurts You,
And
I'm Sorry I'm Sorry
You Feel This Way
But Nothing Can,
Or Will Stop Us
Because,
I Love You I Love You

" You're Such A Murphy"
You're such a Murphy,
You're so different
and so weird
and an outcast
But being a Murphy
shouldn't be considered an insult, Robin.
Because you're different
in the way that you treat me with respect
You're weird,
in an artistic, sarcastic, handsome way
And you're an outcast,
but outcasts rule (:
You may be a Murphy,
But you're mine, Robin Murphy.
I never knew what I would do, if anybody tried to take you away. Dance Gavin Dance
I picked my genres for many reasons. I picked Haikus, because in the book it goes through a year of them being together, and I tried to show how close they were throughout the seasons. Next, I used a two voice poem, to show almost a conversation between them, and what their thoughts were throughout the book. Last, I did a freeverse poem, because that's what the book was written in. It gave the book a much more artistic feel to it, therefore I felt it was important.

Wasting TIme
In all honestly, I find that it would be extremely difficult to waste time, because no one knows our true purpose here. Lets think about it.
What is considered productive?? Learning things you didn't know could be productive. But so could hanging out with one that you don't know, and getting to know them.
My summer, is going to consist of playing ukulele ALL the time, and jam sessions with my friends. Music all day. Now, some might consider that being unproductive, for I will never be famous, but it's what I love to do. Therefore, it is not a waste of time. Matter of fact, this is the ONLY thing that keeps me going everyday.
But not everything you do that you don't like is a waste of time.
Let's take blogs for example, I personally have a very tough time doing them. But:
blogs=good grades
good grades=college
college=education
education=good job/career
good job/career=money
money=no worries for me and my family
i hate the fact that the world revolves around money, but that's the way it is. and i'll do what i have to do, to assure that my future is somewhat bright.
Until then, I will not waste time. (:

The Kore
It's the year 2132, technology and magic have now taken over. Nature no longer exists, for the world has transformed to a giant metropolis. In this metropolis, there is a main and central city, which contains the source of all power. The Kore. The Kore is not human made, for it has been around since humans entered this world. It's a mysterious, magical, and unexplainable force that controls the human lifestyle. It powers the world, and is not questioned. Knowledge about the Kore is lacking, and no one really cares to get to understand it either. Except, for a very curious young woman named Ramona.
A loud buzzing sound went off, and continued for a short while. Unignorable, and neverending, this loud buzzing brings a teenage girl through the bedsheets, and struggling to press a button on this device. She hits the button with a thud, and a hologram of another teenage girl leaps into the air above her.
"Ramona!! It's 12:30, get up!" says the digital figure
"Alright Cecilia.." mumbled a tired, yet almost graceful voice from underneath the covers.
"No, seriously!! I won't hang up until you do!"
"Alright, I will,!" said Ramona, with as much effort as she could put into her lethargic vocal chords as possible.
"Ramona! I'll be over in 10 minutes, and you better be ready!"
And with this, the transmission ended, and Ramona decided to get up and get ready. She knew that Cecelia said she'd be over in 10, but knowing Cecelia, she'd be over in 5.
Ramona was a very attractive young woman, with a 5'9, slender figure. She had dark brown hair down to her shoulders, and eyes a shade of brown that mesmerized men with a glance. Her smile was bright, and natural. But it looked as if she had dental correction, which was very common in the futuristic society.
Cecilia arrived shortly after Ramona was done getting ready. They decided that they would have a girls night in for that night, for Ramona wasn't feeling the best. They decided to walk downtown to the download vendor for a couple movies, which took about 15 or 20 minutes depending on the pace. During the walk, Ramona looked towards the Kore, and became intrigued.
"Hey Cecelia, I gotta ask you something."
"What's up Mona??"
"What do you think the Kore is like?? I mean really, it must have a personality right? Don't you think-"
"Ramona! Stop! You know the Kore hears everything, we AREN'T to question it!"
And with this, they discontinued the conversation, and finished the journey to the vendor as if it never happened, but it couldn't be forgotten.
After the girls night, Ramona went off to bed, and looked out her window for one last view of downtown before she was off too sleep. The Kore popped out to her, as she could see it vaguely, yet distinctly.
"Hmm, I wish I could talk to you, get to know you, because I know that you must think. Must feel. Let me inside. I'm not afraid of you Mr. Kore."
This sentence left her with a sigh, and she slid into her covers. Her eyelids closed, and she started to dream.
This dream brought her a voice, a voice she had been longing for.
" You can call me Ethan".

O Brother, Why Do I Call You Bubby??
You know how most people call their older brothers bubby?? I happen to call my younger one by this nickname, and i'll never understand why. I think it's because he REFUSED to call ME bubby. he may be 8 years old, but he acts like he's going on 30. whenever i drive, i have the passenger seat driver, and the car seat driver, who literally hasn't driven anything except a big wheel anytime in his life. it's not even right. he recently decided that he is going to open a bank account, so he can save money for a car, and college. He asked me the other day, if i would mind teaching him algebra. Think about this, what 8 year old wants to learn algebra??
My little bubby is also convinced that he is overall smarter than me, which i think is almost comical. He insists that he WILL go to college early, which i tried to tell him he won't, but he assumed that he is going to OSU at 16. Which is cool with me, cause i'd love seeing that happen.
In all seriousness though, I love that dude with everything I have. I'd give my life for him. He's the perfect wingman, and he's a good laugh whenever I need one.

Cartoons
In all honesty Mr. Potter, this has been wayyy overdue, but i'll continue anyways.
THE best cartoon as a child, in my opinion, would probably have to be either recess, or scooby doo.
Recess is the basis of childhood fun. They talk about all these t.v. shows which supposedly show the lives of true teens, well, recess was the cartoon version of kids lives. The shenanigans that go down on that playground, I used to be able to relate too in many ways, and on many occasions. My favorite character would have to be JP, (or something like that) because he was always the mastermind of the plans. He was the mischief maker, and every episode gave me a nice chuckle. He always put me in a good mood, for he reminded me that somethings aren't all bad. That dude got detentions all the time, and just rolled with them and lived on from there.
The next and only cartoon that I would every feel like mentioning when it comes to my childhood t.v. watching, is Scooby-Doo. This show WAS my life from age 4-10 and I still watch it on occasions. The reason this show was so great, was because it made me think. I loved mysteries when I was a kid, and I still do. I found myself trying to solve each mystery as it happened, and when i actually got one, i'd run around the house screaming for a solid 5 minutes. i remember, i used to have this little PVC pipe, scooby doo tent, in my room, and i would sometimes sleep in there until i fell asleep, watching scooby. at one point, i also had some scooby doo bedsheets, which were so boss, until i turned 12.
In all honesty, these two have impacted me so much over the years. I AM NOW THAT MEDDLING KID.

i love two minute mysteries, i recently looked up some more, and found this interesting one that should be read. give it a try (:

Detective Nose reported to the scene of the robbery and immediately noticed that officers were already inside the store speaking with the owner. Since they looked occupied, Nose decided to take a look around to see what evidence he could collect.
The jewellery store was located facing a quiet street, attached to a small boutique on the right. A bright red canopy stretched across the building that seemed to add a touch of a class and elegance to the neighbourhood. As the detective walked around the building, he was careful to watch his step. The sidewalk was littered with broken glass from the large display window where Nose assumed the burglar had gained entry. Around to the left side of the building was a long alleyway that stretched as far as the Detective could see. The buildings that lined the alleyway had no windows facing the left side although he could see a few small air vents. To the back of the building was a steel reinforced door, which was locked.
Nose quickly drew a rough sketch of the scene in his notepad and then hurried off inside to join the officers. Fortunately, his arrival was just in time to hear the owner's recollection of the morning events.
"I don't really have much to tell you," the owner said. "I arrived this morning, albeit a few minutes late, to open up shop for the day. When I arrived, the first thing I noticed was the broken window. I took out my key and unlocked the front door. After taking a quick survey of what was missing, I phoned the police from the phone in my office. It is ironic since just last week I booked an appointment to have an alarm installed on the front door for early this morning. Our last system was outdated and was dismantled just yesterday in anticipation of installing the new alarm system."
The Detective took a quick look around and noticed many empty jewellery cases where necklaces, rings and other assorted treasures should have been and then he asked to have a private word with the police. They all stepped aside.
"He hasn't mentioned whether or not his jewellery was insured", said Nose, "but I'm willing to bet he is trying to commit insurance fraud!"
What lead Detective Nose to believe that the robbery was no more than an attempt atinsurance fraud?
haha i solved this, you're turn (;

while sitting in mr. potters classroom one day, i happened to see a certain plastic bottle that crossed my eye. i came to the conclusion, that it was a new flavor of mountain dew: white out. i asked mr. potter if it was good tasting, and he said it was delicious. instead of just taking mr. potter's word for it, i decided to try it. to be honest, it was absolutely amazing. the light citrus flavor topped with the classic mountain dew taste, was something i'll never forget. as this delectable beverage went down my esophagus, i was really hoping it would never end. thank you mountain dew white out, and thank you mr. potter.
